Episode 190: 7/3/2022

This was a pre-recorded show, because I, Operator OT, needed to prep for the Suicide Commando/Luna 13 show that happened on Monday, July 4th. The show started with a new track, an older track about America, and a couple of tracks by Luna 13 and Suicide Commando—to get geared up for their upcoming show. That set was followed by a block of industrial tracks; which was followed with a set of industrial metal; an EBM set; and a set of goth, deathrock, and post-punk tracks, all with an underlying theme of America and collapsing empires. Then we finished the show with a set of shoegaze, etc. to wind down the show.

Episode 189: 6/26/2022

We started this show with a set of new industrial bangers. That was followed with a set of tracks that are too hard for synthpop but not quite hard enough for EBM. Then we played a block of tracks by Luna13 and Suicide Commando, who are playing a show in Little Rock on Monday, July 4, 2022. That was followed with a set of angry and wrathful tracks by women/women-fronted bands because of a bullshit event that shouldn’t have happened. The midnight block was a set of deathrock and deathrock-influenced punk tracks, and we finished the show with a set of shoegaze tracks.

Episode 188: 6/19/2022

We began this show with some new tracks and songs by artists playing shows in the area soon. The following two blocks were the tracks I, Operator OT, played in my DJ set at Club Nevermore’s event on June 11, 2022, which was a mix of goth, darkwave, post-punk, and industrial. Then we played a set of tracks with a beach and summer theme, in honor of summer solstice. The midnight block was a set of industrialized techno tracks. Then we finished the show with a set of shoegaze and ambient tracks by artists or bands fronted by Black/African Americans, in honor of Juneteenth.

Episode 187: 6/5/2022

We started this show with a set of darkwave and industrial bands that are playing shows in the Central Arkansas area soon. We followed that with another set of tracks by Mexican goth and darkwave bands. The block after that was a set of weirdo industrial metal tracks, which was followed by a set of synthpop and darkwave songs. The midnight block took a weird turn we played tracks from first and second wave emo bands, and revealed the hidden and forgotten histories of a few bands out there today. Then we closed out the show with a set of spacey and psychedelic post-punk and experimental noise.

Episode 186: 5/29/2022

We began the show with a set of tracks by darkwave and post-punk artists coming to the area in the near future. The following four blocks were a mix of industrial, goth, darkwave, post-punk, and synthwave tracks that I (Operator OT) played in my sets at last Saturday’s Club Nevermore Cenotaph event. Then we wrapped up the show with a set of summer-themed goth, shoegaze, and ambient tracks to mark the unofficial start of summertime.

Episode 185: 5/22/2022

We returned to the air with an all goth, deathrock, darkwave, and post-punk show in honor of World Goth Day. We started with some new-ish tracks. We followed that up with a set of goth and deathrock tracks from Hamburg, Germany circa 1985-1991. After that we played a set of vampire-themed tracks for World Dracula Day. We followed that up with a set of tracks by bands from Mexico. The midnight block was a set of post-punk tracks, then we wrapped up the show with a set of ethereal goth and shoegaze tracks.

Episode 184: 5/8/2022

We started this show with a block of tracks featuring the late Gabe Serbian, and then we played a couple of darkwave tracks by artists that are playing shows in Central Arkansas in the near future. That was followed with a set of industrial and post-punk tracks in honor of Mother’s Day. Then we played a set of stompy EBM tracks. We followed that up with a set of industrialized techno tracks. The midnight block was a set of noise rock, then we curled up with a set of comfy synth tracks at the end of the show.

We began this show with a set of new goth, post-punk, and industrial tracks. Then we played a mix of industrial, post-punk, goth, and darkwave tracks that I played at Club Nevermore’s Cenotaph on April 30, 2022. Then we wrapped up the show with a set of shoegaze tracks.

We began this set with some industrial tracks, including a couple in honor of Earth Day. Then we were hit with a set of noisy and industrialized hip-hop. After that we played a set of old school industrial and early power electronics. That was followed with a set of tracks from releases that had recent anniversaries. The midnight block was a set of dark punk and deathrock tracks. Then we finished the show with a set of post-punk and psychedelic tracks.

Episode 181: 4/17/2022

We began this show with a mix of industrial tracks. Then Club Nevermore’s DJ 10.29 came by to talk about Cenotaph, the new night by Nevermore and we played a set of stompy EBM tracks. The set following that was one of tracks which had music videos Operator OT saw during episodes of USA Up All Night, in honor of the late Gilbert Gottfried. That was followed with a set of industrialized techno and EBM. We played a set of power electronics and noise at midnight, and closed the show with a set of Kosmische/krautrock.

Note: We had some technical problems with the microphones during the first couple of block. We tried to fix the sound in post-production. We hope the guests are at least audible.
