We reached our 150th show! We started this one with a block of new tracks. Operator OT talked a little about Club Nevermore’s recent return to live in-person events, and the following three blocks were a mix of darkwave, post-punk, and industrial tracks he played at that event. The fifth block was a set of goth, shoegaze, and post-punk tracks by Black and African American artists, in honor of Juneteenth. We closed the show with a set of summer-themed ambient and experimental tracks.

On top of that it says, “Club Nevermore presents a goth-industrial, darkwave, futurepop dance party, plus a live performance by Destryur. This will be on Saturday, July 10th. Doors at 8 PM. 21 and up only. Masks are encouraged for unvaccinated individuals. This will be at Area 51 at 6511 Warden Road in Sherwood, Arkansas.”

The next Club Nevermore event will be on July 10th at Area 51 in Sherwood. This is Arkansas’s one-and-only monthly goth-industrial, darkwave, etc. dance party. This one has Club Nevermore’s resident DJs, plus a live performance by Destryur. Doors open at 8 PM. Area 51 is located at 6511 Warden Road in Sherwood. Enter Area 51 by going into Alibis, the bar next door.

If driving from Little Rock and points west we recommend taking I-40 East, getting into one of the two lanes on the left side of the road, then taking Exit 155, following the signs for 67/167 North towards Jacksonville and LRAFB. Get off 67/167 North at Exit 4, get in the left lane and go down the road to the traffic light. Turn left onto Brockington/Brookswood Road and go two blocks south to Warden Road. Go south until you reach Area 51, which will be on the right side of the road.

If driving from North Little Rock go north-northeast on JFK Boulevard, then turn right and go east on East Kiehl Avenue. Go east through Sherwood, then follow signs for 67/167 South till it reaches Warden Road. Go south till reaching Area 51, which is on the right.
