Episode 34: 3/11/2018
on
In honor of the recent International Women’s Day we did a show featuring women/women-fronted groups. This episode got off to a rocky start, but we persevered and heard some industrial; then there was a no wave and noise rock set; a set of death industrial and power noise; a set of minimal wave/synthpop; then we closed with a set featuring some of the female pioneers of electronic music.
Note: we played two Wendy Carlos tracks on the show, but they were removed from the podcast to avoid being hit with takedown notices.
