Episode 120: 3/29/2020
This is our belated International Women’s Day episode, which was pre-recorded in our quarantine bunker. (This show was intended for March 8th, but we weren’t on air that night, so I made some tweaks and put it together for the 29th.) We started with some industrial tracks. We followed that with a set of post-punk and deathrock. Then we played a set of darkwave, and a set of noise rock. We played a mix of dark ambient, death industrial, power electronics, and noise in what would have been the midnight block, and we closed the show with tracks from some of the women who pioneered electronic music.
Episode 119: 3/15/2020
A little quarantine isn’t enough to stop us! (Operator OT recorded this episode at his house and sent to the station for broadcast.) We began it with a set of songs in honor of our friend Sonny Kay, whose birthday was recently. Then we played a set of industrial and EBM tracks. That was followed with a post-punk set. Then we played a set of dark ambient and death industrial themed around sickness, etc. We blasted some psychedelic noise in what would have been the midnight block, and we closed with a springtime-themed ambient set.
Episode 118: 3/1/2020
We began this with a set of brand new tracks, then we played a set of industrial metal in the second block. The third block was mostly new-ish post-punk tracks, which was followed by a set of mostly recent darkwave, and another set consisting of fairly recent post-punk tracks. Then we closed with a set of experimental tracks.
Episode 117: 2/23/2020
This episode began with some fresh and hot industrial tracks. Then we played a set of EBM in honor of International EBM Day (24/2). That was followed up with a darkwave set and a block of noise rock. We paid tribute to the now-defunct American industrial pioneers Controlled Bleeding by playing some tracks by them and some of their related projects/offshoots. Then we closed the show with a set of dark ambient tracks.
Episode 116: 2/16/2020
This was our Valentine’s/Anti-Valentine’s Day show. We started with a set about love, then switched to an EBM set themed around hate. That was followed with a set themed around revenge. Then we played a set themed around loneliness. The midnight block was a set of songs about black gloves, discipline, etc. Then we ended the show with a dark ambient set about loneliness and abandonment.
Episode 115: 2/9/2020
This one started with a set of new tracks (i.e., ones released this year). That was followed with tracks by some of the artists that will be playing at this year’s Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival. That was followed with a block of EBM, and a set of post-punk tracks in honor of the late producer and Gang of Four member Andy Gill. The midnight block was a set of minimal wave and synthwave tracks referencing rain, and the last set was a mix of experimental and ambient.
Episode 114: 2/2/2020
I (Operator OT) was out of town for the weekend, so we did a pre-recorded show. We started with a set of EBM and industrial tracks. Then we played a set of some of my favorite post-punk songs. That was followed with a set of minimal wave/synthpop, a block of some of my favorite noise tracks, then a set of dark ambient, and we ended with a block of ambient tracks.
Episode 113: 1/26/2020
We started this episode with a warmup set of EBM tracks. We followed that with a block of relatively recent post-punk and darkwave songs. Then we paid tribute to the late Jay Reatard by playing some tracks from his electronic and synthpunk projects, and we followed that with a couple of noise rock tracks. After that was a set of power electronics and heavy industrial, which was followed with a set of pagan Viking folk-type stuff. Then we closed the show with an ambient set.
Episode 112: 1/12/2020
This one started off rocky, but we pulled through by starting with a set of tracks in honor of New Year’s Eve. Then we continued our 2019 review with synthpunk tracks and a mix of industrial and darkwave. That was followed with a set of noise rock tracks from 2019, then we paid tribute to a few of the artists we lost in 2019. That was followed with some Neubauten in honor of it being Blixa Bargeld’s birthday, and we followed with tracks from releases we’re antipating in 2020, then we closed with a set of ambient tracks that came out in 2019.

In this episode we played some of the new and notable—but not necessarily best of—darkwave, industrial, EBM, post-punk, dark ambient and dungeon synth, and experimental and ambient that was released in 2019.
